Classes & Costs

Classes meet once a week beginning in September and ending in May. We offer custom class scheduling which means we survey our parents for the best times for their children and set our schedule accordingly. You will be notified of your class time the week prior to classes beginning.

Age 3: Preballet & Creative Dance Children learn basic locomotor skills (gallop, skip, etc.), and the basics of creative dance, space, form, time & energy. Your child will learn social skills i.e. taking turns, working with partners and how to follow directions. Our class is structured so our students know what to expect each week. 30 minutes Watch $45/ month
Age 4: Preballet & Creative Dance Same as above plus more challenging steps and creative movement skills to match their increasing curiosity and motor skill development. We make learning fun by using props such as hula hoops, scarves, ribbons, and instruments to keep our students enagaged and active. 45 minutes Watch $50/ month
Age 5 & 6: Preballet, Creative Dance & Tap At this level tap dance is introduced to continue the development of rhythm awareness and fine motor skills of the feet. Children will develop musical skills as they learn about whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, and eighth notes. Our students will learn the boogie woogie, pitter patter, maxie ford, and more. 45 minutes Watch $50/ month
Age 7-9: Combination Class (Ballet, Tap & Jazz) This class focuses on the basics of classical ballet and tap. Jazz is introduced at a level appropriate to the students age. 45 minutes Watch $50/ month
Age 9-13: Combination Class (Ballet, Tap & Jazz) This class focuses on the basics of classical ballet and tap. Jazz is introduced at a level appropriate to the students age. 1 hour $55/ month
Age 8 -10: Ballet & Beginning Pre-Pointe At 8 years of age a child’s body is ready for the increased physical demands of classical ballet training. Beginning level through pre-intermediate levels. Focused completely on ballet, students will notice a dramatic increase in their skill levels in all forms of dance. All students are encouraged to include a ballet class in their dance training. 1 1/4 hour Watch $65/ month
Age 11 & Up: Ballet & Prepointe Intermediate At 11 years of age a child’s body is ready for the increased physical demands of classical ballet training. Intermediate level class. Focused completely on ballet, students will notice a dramatic increase in their skill levels in all forms of dance. All students are encouraged to include a ballet class in their dance training. 1 1/4 hour Watch $65/ month
Age 11 -14: Lyrical /Jr. Jazz This class will concentrate on developing a strong foundation of jazz technique. It is strongly recommended that students also be enrolled in a ballet class. 1 hour Watch $55/ month
Age 11 & Up: Intermediate & Advanced Ballet For students in intermediate training and above. Pointe work demands a tremendous amount of strength and technique to be done correctly and safely. Students interested in pointe must take a regular ballet class to develop this needed strength. They are encouraged to also participate in the Exam ballet classes. Every student interested in pointe is evaluated individually and will be put on pointe when qualified. Beginning pointe students start pointe work in their ballet class. 1 1/2 hour Watch $70/ month
Age 14 & Up: Jazz Intensive (or by Instructor Permission) An advanced jazz class, students must have previous dance experience (preferrably with two years of ballet). 1 hour Watch $55/ month
Age 14 & Up: Junior & Senior Lines (or Instructor Permission) Modern Jazz and Tap. Previous dance experience is required. Students learn more intensive Jazz and Modern work. Tap level is intermediate thru advanced. Class placement is determined by ability first, then age. 1 1/4 hour Watch $65/ month
